Tyler Schrader, who memorably ripped a walkoff single to lead the Vikings to a season-ending 6-5 win over Chabot on March 12, has signed to play at Sterling College in Kansas. Schrader batted .281 with five doubles and five stolen bases in his pandemic-shortened career as a Viking.

Sterling College is a member of the 12-school Kansas Collegiate Athletic Association, an NAIA league that includes Tabor College, the alma mater of Viking coach Rick Wiens' mother, Diana. Schrader will play for coach Dylan Connolly, who played for Butte College in Oroville, CA in 2004-2005.
