The West Valley baseball team made it five in a row with a 12-5 win at Hartnell Tuesday afternoon. A pair of infielders named Jacob, Dressler and Serpa, led the offense for the Vikings (8-7) with a combined 5-8, six-RBI day.

Dressler was incendiary at the plate, going 3-5 with five RBI. He had an RBI-single in the first, a two-run homer in the sixth and a two-run double in the eighth. Serpa went 2-3 with four runs scored, highlighted by solo HR in the fourth inning that staked the Vikings a 4-0 lead over the Panthers (2-13).

Tristan Silveira also had a strong day at the plate, going 2-3 with two RBI, a double and three runs scored. Viking starter Cae Cox picked up the win, striking out a pair of Panthers and scattering eight hits in seven innings of work.

West Valley takes on Mission (8-7) Thursday in Santa Clara. First pitch is 1:00pm.
