The goals just keep on coming for the West Valley men's soccer team as the Vikings steamrolled through Chabot 11-0 Tuesday in Saratoga. Smothering ball control and exceptional passing led to seven different Viking goal scorers. Makenna Pendleton led the way with three goals and a pair of assists, while Rodolfo Castro and Andy Nunez each found the back of the net twice. Jonathan Arreola, Jose Canada, Michael Robles and Jonathan Valdovinos each netted single goals. Yannick Lamers and Jeron Rojas combined on the shutout in goal. The Vikings (7-1-1, 3-0-0 Coast) host Monterey Peninsula (0-8-0, 0-2-0) Friday (10/5). Kickoff is 4:00pm.
