It has been a long, world-touring collegiate soccer trip for Pedro Werneck Silva. The midfielder from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil started 24 games in two years at the University of Hawai'i-Hilo after two seasons patrolling the pitch at West Valley.

Werneck Silva finished his Vulcan career with three goals, a pair of assists, 47 shots and 23 shots on goal. At West Valley, he had four goals and eight assists from 2016-2017. He was on track for a monster season in 2017, scoring three goals and handing out five helpers in 14 games before an injury sent him to the sidfelines for the final eight games of the schedule.
