The West Valley men's water polo team swamped Merced 16-3 Saturday to win the 2017 Coast Conference championship at Cabrillo College. The Vikings (27-2, 7-0 Coast) were led by Ivan Stefanovic, who had six goals and was named the tournament MVP. West Valley heads to NorCal finals Nov. 10-11 at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton.
