The West Valley men's water polo team connected on six second half goals, but it wasn't enough as the Vikings dropped a 12-8 contest to San Jose St. March 26.

The Spartans jumped out to a 4-0 first period lead and found themselves up by a slim 7-5 margin after three. The Vikings closed to 9-8, but were outscored 3-0 to end the game.

WVC's Gabriel Vado found the back of the net a game-high four times, with all of his goals coming after intermission. Ran Souva scored twice, while Nikola Nikolic and Xavier Casabella had a goal each. The Vikings host Las Positas Friday, April 2, the first of three straight against the Hawks.
