Malia Pula's two-run HR boosted the West Valley softball team to a 4-0 non-conference win over College of the Redwoods Saturday afternoon in Saratoga. Pula's fifth-inning blast was her team-leading sixth of the season. Jessell Lewis was 2-3 with a double, and picked up the save in relief of starter Reina Maldonado, who moved to 6-4 with the win. The Vikings (12-8, 1-2 Coast-South) return to conference action Tuesday (3/13) against Cabrillo (8-12, 2-1) at the West Valley Softball Complex. First pitch is 3:00pm.
