A ten-run third inning ignited the West Valley softball to an 11-1 run-rule win over Solano Saturday morning in Saratoga. The Vikings (11-8, 1-2 Coast South) sent 14 batters to the plate in the 3rd, highlighted by a two-run double from Alexandra Pussich and Siobhan Taylor's two-run single. Samantha Fletes finished the day 3-3 with an RBI and Jessell Lewis took a no-hitter into the final inning before giving up a lead-off double in the top of the 5th.
