Five different Vikings scored and April Lopez handed out three assists to lead the West Valley women's soccer team to a 5-0 Coast Conference win over crosstown rival De Anza Tuesday in Saratoga. Milka Perez took a Lopez cross from the right side of the box to open the scoring at :10. The score would stay 1-0 until Lopez found Daniela Mendoza at 29' for a 2-0 Viking lead. Jessica Cook made it 3-0 two minutes later on an unassisted tally. Katie Bonvicino (Ashley Wallace and Lopez assists) and Wallace (unassisted) added second half goals for the Vikings (9-2-3, 4-1-0 Coast). GK Samantha Coelho kept the Dons (3-8-0, 1-3-0) off the board for her eighth clean sheet of the season. West Valley hosts Las Positas (10-1-2, 3-0-0) Friday (10/12) in a crucial Coast contest. Kickoff is 4:00pm.
