West Valley swimmer Sayeh Faridnia roared to her third title in three days to earn Swimmer of the Meet honors at the 2018 Coast Conference Championships at the West Valley Aquatics Center. Faridnia swam away from the field in the 200 Butterfly Saturday, finishing at 2:09:46, almost five seconds ahead of City College of San Francisco's Ashley Davis (2:14:25). Her 56:72 win in Friday's 100 Butterfly, also over CCSF's Davis (59:34), earned Faridnia the Performance of the Meet award. The sophomore from Cupertino captured the 200 Individual Medley title Thursday in 2:10:96, far ahead of CCSF's Sophia Greco (2:15:67). Faridnia will defend her 2017 100 Butterfly state title (56:65) at the 2018 CCCAA State Championship May 3-5 at De Anza College.
