Mapuhola Sekona's match-high 16 kills and four service aces lifted the West Valley volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Sacramento City College in Friday's home opener. The 25-18, 25-14, 22-25, 25-12 victory was West Valley's third straight and improved their 2018 record to 4-3. WVC had 51 team kills, with Jenna Gomes and Kaylin Henderson knocking down 13 and five each. The Vikings host Feather River and Santa Rosa Sept. 13 with first serve at 2:00pm.
