The West Valley volleyball team overcame a slow start in all three sets for a methodical 25-21, 25-13, 25-11 win over Skyline in the 2018 Coast Conference opener Friday in Saratoga. State kills-per-set leader Mapuhola Sekona again paced the Vikings (8-4, 1-0 Coast) with a match-high 18 kills.
