State kills-per-set leader Mapuhola Sekona led the West Valley volleyball team to a 25-11, 25-16, 25-12 sweep of Skyline in San Bruno Wednesday night. Sekona had a match-high 15 kills and four aces for the Vikings (11-8, 4-3 Coast), who won for the third time in four matches. Kaylin Henderson followed Sekona with nine kills and Hannah Reynoso had eight assists. WVC hosts Hartnell (21-3, 5-1) in a crucial match Friday (10/26) starting at 6:30pm. The Panthers edged the Vikings 3-2 in a five-set epic October 3 in Salinas.
