Mapuhola Sekona will have to make room in her trophy case for a slew of 2018 awards to add to her 2017 All-Region and All-Coast Conference 1st-team honors. The sophomore outside hitter was recently named an American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American, a CCCAA All-State and All-Coast 1st-teamer and the NorCal Player of the Year. Sekona topped the CCCAA regular season kills-per-set chart (4.83) and was third in overall kills (401). She led the Coast in kills-per-set and total kills was third in the confernce in digs-per-set (3.06) and total digs (254). Kaylin Henderson (8) joins Sekona on the All-Coast first team, while Audrey Fernandez (5) and Kayla Keller (12) garnered second team honors.
