The West Valley volleyball team captured its fifth straight sweep with a dominant 25-14, 25-10, 25-15 win over San Jose City Wednesday in Saratoga. The Vikings (15-7, 6-1 Coast) never trailed as they completed the season sweep of the Jaguars (9-9, 2-5). WVC had 48 kills (37%), led by Hannah Moore's 17 (52%), Aaryan Hashimi's ten (75%) and Rene Wash's nine. Della Trimble had a match-high 26 assists, followed by Audrey Fernandez with 17. Fernandez served up three aces, Kayla Keller had eight digs and Hashimi recorded 2.5 blocks.
