West Valley College was the site for the 2018 Coast Conference Kickoff pairs tournament, as beach squads from Cabrillo, College of San Mateo, Foothill, Gavilan, Mira Costa and WVC descended upon the sand at Saratoga. Vikings Mapuhola Sekona and Emma Blockhus took top honors in the 1's bracket with a semifinal win over Mira Costa's defending state champions Claire Kinder and Chloe Tripp and then topping Cabrillo's Madelynn Barrios and Alexandra Bol for the title.
