The West Valley beach volleyball team battled back from a loss to Cabrillo earlier in the day to sweep the College of San Mateo Friday afternoon in Saratoga. The Vikings (5-1, 3-1 Coast) didn't drop a set to the first-year Bulldogs (0-6, 0-4) as WVC 1's Mapuhola Sekona and Emma Blockhus, 2's Morgan Wright and Kaylin Henderson, and 3's Kristen Hayes and Claire Danna earned straight-set wins.
