Goals from Salomon Kendaya and Pablo Ramirez Belmont lifted the West Valley men's soccer team to a 2-0 win at Napa Valley Friday. Kendaya put the Vikings on the board in the 16th minute off an Andy Nunez helper. Nunez assisted again in the 50th minute, finding a streaking Ramirez Belmont, who rifled a shot past Napa keeper Carlos Ayala for the clincher. Viking keeper Jeron Rojas quieted the Storm with five saves on his way to the clean sheet. West Valley (2-3-2) continues its five-fixture road trip with Coast Conference games at Chabot (4-3-1) Oct. 4 at 4pm and at Monterey Peninsula (7-2-0) Oct. 8 at 2pm.
