Befitting one of the strongest rivalries in NorCal soccer, West Valley and De Anza battled to a fierce 1-1 tie Friday at Dick Schwendinger Field. Pablo Ramirez Belmont, from Bernardo Berardinelli, put the Vikings (4-3-3, 2-0-1 Coast North) on the board first at 38' with his sixth goal of the season. Toma Isozumi got the equalizer for the Dons (4-3-4, 1-0-3 Coast-South)in the 63rd minute. West Valley hosts Foothill (6-1-4, 1-0-2 Coast-North) Tuesday (10/15) at 4:00pm.
