The West Valley men's soccer team picked up a big 1-0 win at Skyline Tuesday afternoon. The Coast-South Conference victory moves the Vikings to 4-2-1 in the division with an all-important matchup with City College of San Francisco (4-0-4) Friday (11/1) in Saratoga. Andy Nunez got the game-winning goal in the 38th minute on a Bernardo Berardinelli helper. WVC keeper Irvin Cardoza turned away five Trojan shots for his fourth shutout of the season. Friday's game against the Rams kicks off at 3:00pm.
