The West Valley baseball team picked up its fourth straight win, thanks to a dinger demonstration from Curran Ozawa-Burns. The sophomore outfielder went yard twice and drove in five runners to lead the Vikings to a 10-3 win Los Medanos.

West Valley got all the runs they'd need in a four-run first highlighted by an Ozawa-Burns two-run shot that scored Jacob Dressler, who had walked. The Vikings (7-7) made it 7-0 in the third on a three-run Ozawa-Burns blast that knocked in Cole Murchison and Dressler.

Ozawa-Burns finished the day 3-5 with five RBI, giving him a team-high three HRs and 14 RBI on the year. Viking starter Ryan Sleeman kept the Mustangs (6-6) in check, scattering six hits and striking out six in five innings of work. Michael Dixson struck out five Mustangs an impressive two innings of relief.

Friday's win follows a 2/18 win at Modesto and a sweep of Mission on 2/22 and 2/24. West Valley takes on Hartnell (2-10) in Salinas March 1. First pitch is 2:00pm.
