Salomon Kendaya had a goal and four assists to lead the West Valley men's soccer team to a 6-1 win over Skyline Friday at Dick Schwendinger Field.

David Hernandez opened the scoring with a 6th-minute goal off a Kendaya helper. The two teams traded goals in stoppage time, Jose Ocampo from Kendaya for WVC and Marcos Alvarez on a free kick for the Trojans seconds later.

The Vikings (5-8-1, 3-4-0 Coast-North) found the back of the net in rapid succession in the second half. Miguel Medina (Kendaya assist) scored at 64', followed by A'Tonal Torres (Kendaya) at 67", Kendaya (Abrahan Fernandez) at 69' and Oscar Avendano (Rune Petersen) just before the final whistle.
Ryan Gardner was rarely tested, stopping one of two shots by the Trojans (2-9-1, 3-3-1 Coast-North), to pick up the win in goal.

West Valley travels to City College of San Francisco (6-5-2, 3-3-1 Coast-South) Oct. 26. Kickoff is 4:00pm.
