The West Valley men's soccer closed out the regular season with a tight 2-0 loss to rival Evergreen Valley Friday at Dick Schwendinger Field. The Vikings (8-8-2, 4-5-2 Coast South) split the season series with the Hawks (9-5-3, 6-2-2 Coast North), winning 3-2 in Saratoga on Sept. 23.
The Vikings now await their playoff destiny, with NorCal seedings announced next week.
