Title: Assistant Coach
Coach Kim is in her second season as the Vikings' pitching coach. In her first season, she coached Shelby White to 3C2A Pitcher of the Week on April 4, as well as 3CFCA Pitcher of the Week on April 11. Reeder helped White lower her ERA from 2.6 in the 21-22 season to 1.8 in the 22-23 season. Under her tutelage, pitcher Rhiannon Underhill also lowered her ERA from 1.5 to 0.88 from season to season, while holding an impressive 0.00 ERA until the last two weeks of the 2023 season. Both White and Underhill went on to play at Menlo College and the University of Saint Katherine for the 23-24 seasons.
 
Reeder has been a pitching instructor and the owner of Seven Strong Softball LLC for over 15 years, after achieving D1 NFCA All-American honors as a senior at The Ohio State University in 2009. She led the Buckeyes to the deepest playoff run in history, still holding records for the most wins (77) and most wins in a season (26). Reeder also spent three seasons in professional softball, playing overseas in the Italian Softball League and in Australia. In 222 innings of work in the circle, she had a 1.26 ERA, averaging 1.7 strikeouts per inning.
 
She has coached pitchers for many colleges at the next level, including Cal Berkeley, Santa Clara, Tulsa, Azusa Pacific, NYU, UCSB, Washington, BYU, Slippery Rock, Mount Vernon Nazarene, and New Mexico.
 
Reeder not only has a significant coaching background but is also well-rounded in the recruiting area. Along with coaching duties, she assists in the recruiting efforts for the Vikings, with significant experience in sending players to Division I, II, and NAIA colleges. Most recently, Reeder placed Bella Sweet at Sonoma State, Rhiannon Underhill and Natalie Clevenger at the University of Saint Katherine, and Shelby White at Menlo College. Other players Reeder placed before West Valley include those at Portland State, Weber State, UCF, UNLV, SJSU, CSU San Bernardino, Minnesota Crookston, CSUMB, Vanguard, Hope International, UCSB, USD, UNM, Western Washington, Sacramento State, and Santa Clara.
