Taylor Tullo came out swinging to start her collegiate career and was named the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association State Player of the Week, the CCCWVCA announced Tuesday.

Tullo's sensational opening week highlighted a total West Valley team effort in wins over Shasta and Fresno City Aug. 27.
