The top three West Valley beach pairs - Katie Kishton and Flor Porras, Camdyn Albrecht and Alina Valenti, and Elia Dueñas and Taylor Tullo - were named to the 2022 All-Coast Conference squad, Viking coach Armen Zakarian announced. West Valley's 1's, Kishton and Porras, were the Coast runners-up, the NorCal champions and the runners-up at the CCCAA Beach Volleyball Pairs State Championship at Irvine Valley. Albrecht and Valenti, WVC's 2's, also qualified for state, while 3's Dueñas and Tullo qualified for NorCals.

All six Vikings were members of the 2021 Coast Conference champion and CCCAA runner-up indoor team. Tullo earned 1st team All-Coast in both indoor and beach, was the Coast-South MVP, All-NorCal, All-State and AVCA All-America in indoor. She'll be playing indoor volleyball on scholarship at Hawaii-Hilo.

Kishton will be heading to Santa Clara University after being named to both indoor and beach Coast 1st teams, while Valenti, who's undecided about ther four-year school, was also 1st team in both indoor and beach. Dueñas was a member of the back-to-back Coast-South indoor champions and will be attending Ottawa University in Arizona on a beach scholarship. Porras will return for her second season of indoor and beach in 2022-23. Albrecht is undecided about her four-year destination.
