The West Valley beach volleyball team stayed just two games out of first with a Coast Conference split Friday at the West Valley Beach Volleyball Complex. The Vikings (5-8, 4-2 Coast) opened the day with a 4-1 win over College of San Mateo (2-7, 2-4) and then fell to front-runner Cabrillo (9-1, 6-0) 5-0 in the late match.
