The West Valley beach volleyball team hit the sand in Santa Cruz Friday for the Coast Conference Pairs Tournament. Three Viking teams - 1's Flor Porras/Kiana Manson, 2's Devin Derecho/Sydney Rogers and 3's Tristin Sahlie/Taylor Vales - advanced to the CCCAA NorCal Pairs Championship at West Valley May 5. Porras/Manson finished 3rd in Santa Cruz, while Derecho/Rogers were 4th and Sahlie/Vales 11th.

In addition to hosting NorCals, the West Valley Beach Comnplex will be the site of the 2023 CCCAA State Championships May 11-13.
