WVC picked up two runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth to take a 6-3 lead over the Rams (7-17, 0-9) and then Jared Reupert and Zach Smits put it away with a pair of solo homers in the eighth. Smits finished the day 2-5 with a double, an HR and and RBI. Jake De Fiore earned the win, giving up three runs on seven hits and striking out three in six innings of work.
