West Valley pitcher Adrian Lopez has signed with Menlo College, joining Mason Mooney, Tyler Schrader and Pako Vehikite as 2020 Vikings to land scholarships. The righthanded hurler from Soledad played for WVC in 2018 and 2020, going 3-0 in 19 appearances and striking out 27 in 30 innings-pitched. 

Menlo College is an NAIA school located in Atherton, CA. The Oaks are members of the Golden State Athletic Conference and are coached by John Carrion, who played community college baseball at Solano College. The Oaks were 10-16 when the 2020 season was halted in March.

Earlier this summer, Mooney signed with Carson-Newman in Tennessee, Schrader with Sterling University in Kansas, and Vehikite with Kansas Wesleyan.
