Down 45-35 to Victor Valley at halftime, the West Valley basketball team regrouped to outscore the Rams 41-25 in the second half and record a 76-70 win Friday night in Saratoga. Ben Baker led the Vikings (2-3) with 26 points, including seven key second-half free throws. Michael Steward II drained four treys to finish with 13 points, while Leland Estacio had nine. West valley hits the road for a game at Reedley Nov. 23 at 3pm.
