The West Valley men's soccer team was outplayed on all sides of the ball, dropping a 5-1 Coast Conference tilt to Foothill Tuesday in Saratoga. The Vikings (4-4-3, 2-1-1 Coast-North) were outshot 10-5 by the Owls (7-1-4, 2-0-3), who expanded a 2-0 halftime lead with goals in the 51st, 63rd and 75th minutes. Timoteo Parra put West Valley on the board in the 88th minute on an assist from Andy Nunez. WVC hosts Cañada (8-4-1, 3-2-0) Saturday (10/19) at 1:00pm.
