The 2022 West Valley men's soccer season gets off to an incendiary start on Aug. 28 with a home fixture against 2021 state champion Mt. San Antonio College. The Vikings face eight 2021 playoff teams, including the Mounties, state runne-rup Hartnell and NorCal finalist De Anza.

Two scrimmages sandwich the 2022 Alumni Game on Aug. 20. September features four straight matches against Fresno City, Folsom Lake, Feather River and Evergreen Valley, all 2021 playoff teams.

Coast-North action begins Sept. 27 at Monterey Peninsula and concludes Nov. 11 at Chabot. A stellar home Coast schedule includes De Anza (9/30), Foothill (10/4), Cañada (10/7), San Francisco (10/21), Ohlone (10/28) and Evergreen Valley (11/4).
