West Valley men's soccer was honored to welcome back 28 former Vikings on Aug. 20 for the 2022 Alumni Game at Dick Schwendinger Field.

The alumni legacy is stronger than ever, as expemplified by former Viking defensive All-American Gerardo Martinez (2018-19), who recently graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a Construction Management degree and anchored the alumni backfield Saturday. 

The game itself was hard-fought with some brilliant goals and the use of muscles, on the alumni side, that hadn't been used for awhile.
