Five members of the West Valley men's water polo team recently added more postseason awards to their resumes, Head Coach Willo Rodriguez announced.
Xavier Casabella, Ben Fleming and Miguel Navarro were named to the All-America and All-NorCal first teams. All three had garnered All-Coast first team honors, and Fleming was the Coast Conference MVP.
Sina Faridnia, an All-Coast first-teamer, and Inigo Gonzalez, an All-Coast second-teamer, earned spots on the All-America and All-NorCal honorable mention lists.
All five Vikings were first-year players on an all-freshman team that finished fourth in the north and captured the Coast Conference Tournament championship.
