Sophomore shortstop Maricela Matos and freshman catcher Hunter Miramontes earned All-Coast Conference 1st Team honors to lead seven Vikings who nabbed postseason awards. Marissa Diaz (1B), Sierra Hillman (UT), Alexis Palmon (P/1B) and Carinne Peterson (3B) were named to the All-Coast 2nd team, while Ava Gonzales (P) earned Honorable Mention honors. Matos batted .322, with 25 RBI, 39 hits, two homers and a team-high seven doubles and three triples. She was a standout middle infielder with only five errors in 123 chances, a .959 fielding percentage. Miramontes batted a team-high .361, with a pair of homers, 30 hits and a .443 OBP. Diaz had a team-high .468 OBP and a .968 FP, while Hillman banged out a team-high 41 hits and a .323 average. The versatile Palmon led the Vikings with 10 wins and 63 Ks in the circle, and had 35 hits and a .337 average at the plate. Peterson was second on the team with three HRs, and compiled a .333 BA, 31 RBI and a .917 FP.
