As she did at West Valley in 2018, Siobhan Taylor started every game at second base for Lyon College in 2019 and 2020. Her steady consistency in the field and at the plate helped the Scots to the American Midwest Conference championship game in 2019 and an overall two-year mark of 48-20.

Lyon, an NAIA school located in the heart of the Ozarks in Batesville, Arkansas, was aiming at a return to the AMC title game in 2020 when the season was abruptly halted in March. The Scots were 15-6, winning six of nine heading into AMC conference action. Taylor was also tearing it up when the season ended, hitting safely in the final six games. She started that streak by going a combined 7-11 with two doubles and three RBI in a three-game stretch against William Penn (IA), Judson (ILL) and Brenau (GA).

In her two years playing for coach Jessica Mattia in Batesville, Taylor started 63 games and posted a career .283 average with 36 runs scored, 43 hits, five doubles, 21 RBI, a .316 SLG and a .967 fielding %. In the abbreviated 2020 campaign, she finished with a .333 average, 18 hits, 18 runs, five RBI and three doubles.

Taylor earned All-Coast Conference 2nd Team honors at West Valley in 2018. She had 29 hits in 36 games for coach Vicky Piatt's Vikings, compiling a .293 average, a .360 OBP, a .384 SLG%, 19 RBI, five doubles, two triples and a .934 fielding%. The former Santa Clara High School standout, who's first name is pronounced Show-VON, is a lifelong SF Giants fan and is working towards a career as a physical therapist.
