Twelve West Valley women's soccer players earned spots on the 2021-22 California Community College Soccer Coaches Association Scholar Athlete Team, Viking coach Jennifer Kerwin announced recently.
Athletes must have played at least one season and completed at least 24 units with a minimum 3.3 GPA to be considered for the honor. Named to the team were Isabella Colet-Ruiz, Alexis Jade Coloma, Bailey Erickson, Bella Fiorentino, Fryda Huizar, Iliana Jasso, Nicole Nunes, Sara Prough, Sophia Rodriguez, Ariel Syrkin, Emily Trampenau and Brianna Valverde.
