Appropriately, for a team comprised largly of water polo players, it was the team events that were the highlight for the WVC women's swim team at the 2023 Hawk Invitational at Las Positas College. Viking relay teams brought home two 1sts, a 2nd and a 3rd at the two-day event in Livermore.

Winning the 400 Free Relay were the team of Johanna Scheer, Kianna Melvin, Aiyana Mendoza and Alex Harris, while Harris and Scheer teamed with Paige McKroskey and Gaby Thomas to take the 400 Medley Relay. Harris, McKroskey, Scheer and Thomas swam to a second-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay, and, finishing 3rd in the 200 Free Relay were Scheer, Melvin, Harris and Mendoza.

Scheer finished 2nd in the 50 Breast, and Harris took 3rd in the 200 Back.
