The West Valley volleyball team improved to 2-0 in the Coast-South with a 25-13, 20-25, 27-25, 25-16 win at City College of San Francisco Wednesday night. The Vikings (10-6, 2-0 Coast-South) had three players hit double figures in kills. Hannah Moore connected on 13 swings, as did Rene Wash. Jaida Ward had 12 kills to go along with three solo blocks. Moore had 11 digs, while Della Trimble handed out 41 assists and collected a pair of aces. Renee Martin finished with four blocks against the Rams (6-10, 1-1) and also had two service aces. The Vikings play their fourth straight road match Friday (10/11) against Gavilan (6-10, 2-0) in Gilroy. First serve is 6:30pm.
