The West Valley volleyball team finished the year ranked 12th in California in the final poll of the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association. 

Highlights in the 20-9 2019 season included wins over Coast Conference rivals #5 Cabrillo, #21 De Anza and Gavilan, 2018 state champion #6 American River, #9 Sierra, #13 San Joaquin Delta and, in the NorCal playoffs, #22 San Mateo.
