Elizabeth McGrath was a member of two of the most celebrated teams in recent West Valley history.

In 2018, Liz was a key rotation player on the Viking indoor volleyball team that rallied past top-seeded Cabrillo in the NorCal finals in Aptos to secure a berth in the CCCAA Volleyball State Championship tournament. McGrath recorded 101 assists and 24 digs during the season.

The 5-7 setter from Watsonville followed that up with a beach volleyball Coast Conference championship in the spring of 2019. After one indoor and two beach seasons, McGrath took her talents to Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut.

As the starting setter for Post in 2019, McGrath led the Eagles with 552 assists and a 27.6 assists-per-match average. She came up with 4.55 digs per match and knocked down 1.5 kills per match. She also served up 18 aces.

McGrath ended the season with 41 assists at Caldwell, 48 helpers against Wilmington and 47 assists versus Concordia. The highlight of her junior year was a 49-assist, four-kill, eight-dig night against Caldwell on October 8.
