Seemingly putting it together at just the right time, the West Valley volleyball team roared to its fourth straight win with a sweep at Gavilan Wednesday night. The 25-18, 25-18, 25-23 victory kept the Vikings atop the Coast-South standings with a 3-0 mark.

Aubree Lang paced the Viking offense with a match-high 11 kills, while Nunu Saulala set the tone for the defense with four blocks, to go along with eight kills. Flor Porras came up with 19 digs, followed by Taylor Vales with nine. Sydney Rogers handed out a match-high 21 assists. Gabrielle Carbonel recorded 13 assists and a match-high three service aces.

West Valley (8-9, 3-0 Coast South) returns to Saratoga Friday, Oct. 28 after a three-match road trip to take on crosstown rival De Anza (10-9, 2-1). First serve is 6:30pm.
