The West Valley women's water polo team moved to 4-0 in the Coast-South Conference with a dominant 20-3 win at the College of San Mateo Friday. Nine players scored for the Vikings (12-4, 4-0 Coast-South), led by Alexis Goldin's four goals, two assists and five steals. Sierra Ceballos recorded three goals, an assist and a steal, while Maria Higginbotham and Heather Gray both had a pair of goals, an assist and three steals. Alana Daigneault found the back of the net twice, and GK Raquel de Pinho notched eight saves, eight blocks and three assists. WVC travels to Highway 17 rival Cabrillo Oct. 9 for a 4:15 game against the Seahawks (6-4, 2-0 Coast-North).
