Former West Valley and current San Diego St. goalkeeper Raquel de Pinho was named the Golden Coast Conference Newcomer of the Year and the All-GCC First Team keeper, it was recently announced.
De Pinho led the GCC in saves (73) and saves-per-game (10.4) and was a GCC-best 6-1 in conference contests.
The junior from Brazil was a two-time All-American, All-NorCal, All-Conference 1st-teamer and Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year at WVC from 2018-2019.
